Everyone has to remember the legacy the Chicago Bulls created in the early 90’s. One of the greatest basketball players of all time has snatched Nike attention towards Arizona. This player stated that he would go to the “Basketball Hall Of Fame” with the 76ers, but time wasn’t on his side. He was an Olympic player, Auburn graduate, and is still a living legend on the court. If you still ponder who this is in reference to, you need to look back in basketball history. I speak of the legendary Charles Barkley. This is a sneaker from Nike that is inspired by the Olympic Opening Ceremony that will be take place 08/08/08. The “Embossed 8″, made with Nike’s premium leather, optic blue detail siding and suede, will definitely make heads turn. This is a collectors item. Expect this hot sneaker to to hit Sneaker Villa’s wall cubes mid August.

I guess when you conquer almost impossible odds, climb vigorous mountains and defeat the best of the best, then, and only then, will Nike create a dunk in your honor. Here feasted in front of your eyes is the “Boston Celtic Nike Dunk”. A dunk that is celebrating the 08 N.B.A. champions. This sneaker is expected to hit us early September.
Also keep in mind that there are more team inspired dunks that will be launching later this year.

The all black Nike Air Force 1 “Birds Nest” is inspired by the new Olympic Stadium in Beijing. These sneakers have been released in Japan and pictures are now circulating. This Air Force 1 comes in three colorways: red/navy, black/green, and black/black. All of these sneakers feature the “Birds Nest” structure on it. Expect the red/navy to hit stores July 5th. While the other two will launch August 15th.
